about

My name is Jae, I'm a freshman in college.
I wrote, recorded, and produced this album in my dorm room with a midi keyboard, a laptop, and a microphone.

My musical inspiration ranges from the Hip Hop sound of artists like Jon Bellion to the indie rock vibe of Sir Sly, to the relaxed vulnerability of artists like Gnash. I create music as a form of journaling, everything I write is a process of what's inside my head. Sometimes it's relatable, and sometimes its specific as hell.

Making the cash money is a nice gift, but the process of crafting my thoughts into external extensions of myself, and praising God through that process, is a reward in itself.

s/o to my roommate for dealing with me recording while he was trying to sleep last semester.
